How we score
Every badge on a product page comes from a published rule below. When we don't have enough data we say so instead of guessing.
Price history
We check each store's price on a schedule and keep our own record. The chart shows the lowest in-stock price across stores for each day. “Typical price” is the median of the last 90 days.
Deal check
Needs at least 14 days and 10 price checks. Score = 100 minus the share of the last 90 days that were cheaper than today; +10 if today is the lowest we've seen; −15 if today is above the typical price. 80+ is “Great price”, 60–79 “Good”, 40–59 “Fair”, below 40 “Wait”.
Discount honesty
- MRP inflation: if the discount claimed against MRP is 20 or more percentage points bigger than the real saving against the typical price, we flag it.
- Pre-sale hike: if the price went to 15%+ above typical in the 15 days before, and the “deal” price is still near typical, we flag it.
These are statements about price history, not claims about any store's intent.
Seller trust
Points for: fulfilled by the store (25), seller rating and volume (up to 20), brand warranty (20; seller warranty 5), 7+ day returns (15), official brand store (10), price not far below other stores (10). 75+ “Trusted”, 50–74 “OK”, below 50 “Caution”. A price more than 25% below other stores is flagged so you can check the seller.
Ratings
We show each store's star rating and count, and link to the store to read reviews. We never write, rewrite, or reproduce reviews. The combined rating is weighted by count and adjusted toward the category average when there are few ratings. We flag when stores disagree by 0.7 stars or more.
Store order
Stores are sorted by price (in-stock first). Commission never affects order. Any paid placement would be clearly labelled “Sponsored”.
